Defiance is the story of an alien girl that falls from the sky as his homeland galaxy destroyed during a gigantic battle between aliens and adopted by a human name Jeb. Aliens known as Votans and after losing their glaxy in destruction of battles. They come to the earth to make it their new home land for their survival and children future. As they come to earth world government of earth starts negotiations with these Votans. Votans released after this talk that they will not allowed to live on earth. In-spite of going back and finding new home they start battle with the government as a result the earth become a battle field. The main character of this story is Jeb Nolan who was a ten year old kid when these Votan had come on earth. He served army and fight against these aliens. During battles aliens put terraformers in earth surface that changed the earth shape and atmosphere altogether. After long time battles both side realized that now its not the battle among themselves its the battle to survive now. This thought agreed both side to ceasefire. After ceasefire Jeb decided to go back to his home town. He become shocked to see his city as the refugee camp as nothing like before when he last left his city. This situation turn the Jebs into a defender cheif of his city to protect his adopted alien daughter and city from Votan's and government's battles. This a story of a father and daughters love bond.
