CULTURE DRESSES OF INDIA

Every region has its own culture, language and dressing according to the climate, and physical condition of land. India culture is a mixture of old nation culture. Early history of Indian culture is that they are not families with the art of sewing. Both men and women were use to wear long sheets of cloth. Women use a piece of cloth with a knot at front to cover their chest. These sheets of cloth are known as sari. The art of sewing in the sub-continent with the arrival of Muslims. Indian culture has many Muslim traditions in it. With the arrival of East India company to the sub-continent the trend of suit dress also become the part of culture of India.

 

India has 28 provinces and has great population. There is no cultural harmony between the provinces and at some distance the trend of dressing change abruptly. Therefore it hard to deiced any dressing as a national dress of India. India is occupied by the people of different tests and sense of dressing. The common dressing of women in India is sari. As India is a big country and have large communities regionally it can be divide into four parts
  1. North India, 
  2. South India, 
  3. West India, 
  4. East India
Most of the population of north India is a Muslim community, They use to ware Shalwar Qameez with head covered with cotton cap. Women use to ware Shalwar Qameez with dopatta. While in south Indian Dravidian culture rules. Man use to ware loose trouser type Shalwar and waste coat type shirt with kerhai (embroidery) on it. Mostly man wear only Shalwar and do want cover their upper body.

Indian Woman Cultural Dressing

Dressing style of India woman is different from each from region to region as India is a multi-culture country and homeland of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Sikhism. As the north and east part of India are in series woman were use to ware sari, ghagra choli, shalwar qameez and lehnga. Some woman use to ware duppata and some use scarf or chunari as vial.On the other hand the south Indian woman like to ware sari and little girls use to ware a dress known as pattu pavadai.Most of Indian fashion is originated from Mumbai as it is known as the fashion capital of India. Although India is becoming a advance country and people sense of fashion is maturing there are some families which still use to ware traditional dresses. Indian culture beauty is incomplete without bindi its a small round commonly red color dot which woman use to decorate their forehead. Woman of Adhara wear choli a small blouse with the long loose skirt type trouser known as ghagra. Dressing style of India are according to male female distinction rule. Indian Man Cultural Dressing
 Man of india has dresses according to the region. Dhoti and Kurta can be think as a national dress of india. In south india man commonly ware longi a kind of dhoti and a short shirt on it. In muslims of india the trend of shalwar qameez is in. New generation of india has changing the old trands. They are using jeans, torusers, t-shirt, dress paint shirts and suit. New generation is inspiring by the american fashion industry. While in rural area people still use to ware dhoti a long cloth shit whose one part is crossed between the two legs and spported at back to hold the cloth on waist. In some communities of India sherwani is used to ware. Most commonly use cultural dresses by man are
